We keep this short and readable on purpose. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.
This Privacy Policy explains how Supalisting ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website and listing-optimization product (the "Service"). Plain-language summaries appear in green callouts; the surrounding text is the operative version.
01 Scope & summary
This policy covers the Supalisting website, web application, and related services. It does not cover third-party marketplaces (such as Airbnb) whose own policies govern your use of them.
In short: we collect the minimum needed to run the Service, we never sell your data, and you can export or delete it at any time.
02 What we collect
Information you provide
- Account details — name, email, and password (stored hashed) when you sign up.
- Listing inputs — the listing URLs and properties you add for optimization.
- Communications — messages you send to support or feedback you submit.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages viewed, features used, and actions taken, to improve the product.
- Device & log data — browser type, IP address, and timestamps for security and diagnostics.
- Cookies — essential cookies to keep you signed in, plus optional analytics cookies you can decline.
03 How we use data
We process your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service and your audits.
- Generate optimization recommendations and market comparisons.
- Communicate about your account, security, and product updates you opt into.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
We rely on the legal bases of performance of a contract (running the Service), legitimate interests (improving and securing it), and consent (optional analytics and marketing email).
04 Listing & marketplace data
To build an audit, we read publicly available listing data — titles, descriptions, amenities, photos, and pricing context — for the listings you add and a sample of comparable listings in your market.
Read-only by design. We never post, edit, or publish changes to your marketplace listings. Applying a suggestion is always an action you take yourself.
We do not require you to connect a marketplace account to run an audit. If a future feature offers an optional account connection, it will be clearly described and require your explicit authorization.
05 Sharing & processors
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, under contracts that limit their use to our instructions:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Supalisting and its users.
06 Retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete a listing, its audit history is removed from active systems promptly and from backups within 30 days.
You can delete your entire account at any time from settings; we then remove your personal data except where retention is legally required (for example, billing records).
07 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or export the personal data we hold about you.
- Delete your data or restrict how we process it.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent for optional analytics or marketing at any time.

08 Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed credentials, scoped access controls, and regular review of our providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information and will notify you of any breach that affects you as required by law.
